Guys, I need help. We were painting the house and some paint specs, fell onto the laptop. They are not big, more like dust specs. Any idea how to remove them without damaging the laptop cover?

NOT ACETONE ... that will remove the laptop's paint and melt the plastic.

If a damp cloth doesn't work try some dilute alcohol on a cloth

It depends on what kind of paint you were using...Latex paint usually cleans up with water and little elbow grease. Oil based paints are another story though, usually you would have to use acetone or terpentine which will take your other paint off as qwester said. The other options is that if they are raised above the surface, try and see if you can just scratch the chips off with your fingernail. Hope that helps!
