Anyone has any ideas about how to touch up the paint on a laptop. My HP ZT3000 paint on the side is rubbing off. Also the mousepad button. I really don't want to repaint the whole thing. I just want to repaint the paint that rubbed off.

Acrylic paint should do the trick. The hard part is trying to get an exact color match and trying to avoid brush lines. Pretty hard to get it as smooth as the original plastic. My laptop is black but it is black plastic so trying to paint it and not have it show as a blob of paint is almost impossible.

You will never match it 100 percent. I would just take it apart and paint the entire thing with a good Quality spray paint.

Won't be smooth unless you do the whole panel. Could probably go with plasti-dip so you can peel it off if you don't like it.

Or you can send it to me to be base/clear coated in one of thousands of colors!
