    ASRock to Enter Notebook Market

    ASRock, an unknown to those in the notebook world, is planning to enter the entry-level notebook market in April. Its two initial machines, the 12-inch M12 and 15-inch M15 will feature Intel Celeron/Pentium processors and be priced under $500.

    Interesting, I've never heard of this brand..It will be neat to see the actual models, esp. the 12"!!

    Is the company a subsidiary of Asus, by chance??

    I dun think so. I used to buy their motherboards cause it's freaking cheap (I hope this doesn't represent the notebooks)! I've never saw anything other than motherboards from them. Quality wise is still acceptable..

    Hoping they offer long runtime batteries with the 12". And non-glossy screens. At that price, count me in.

    for cheap motherboards they rock. i think they will do very well with notebooks i use their mobo's for my cheaper builds for customers all the time i LOVE the g31m-s fantastic 40$ mobo

    Hmm..Regarding battery life, I highly doubt it as they're positioning their brand as budget notebook ;)
