This is what asus usually isn't: thin.

Looks pretty nice, but I don't think this will fit into their recent value-minded consumer target market. lol
Don't like that glossy screen at all, though. Way too reflective. Check out the 5th picture -- you can already see a bunch of fingerprints on it. -

Lol, this definitely looks great the k series has great specs but the looks are meh.
This notebook reminds me of the adamo for some reason.....maybe its the elegance? I also knows it a bigger notebook then the adamo before anyone says so -
Well at least asus is working on thin ness now, it dont look half that bad, awesome specs though

I have a question on Asus build quality - do they use a metal chassis ? How does the build quality compare to dell precision/ lenovo thinkpads ?

Believe me, I was frothing from my mouth when I saw those shots in the link posted earlier, but it looks like the laptop isn't as thin as I thought.

Meh. -
nice, sleek design

Does anyone know how soon these will be on the market. I'm currently looking for a nice light 15" laptop that isn't to ugly.
-
thanks for the info. although they're certainly a step up in the looks department compared to Asus' earlier offerings, still not quite at the same level as the W3 days.
