This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm kind of surprised that notebook makers are already announcing ivy bridge notebooks, considering IB has been delayed.

    Pretty sure IVB desktop processors were delayed, and not notebook IVB.

    Well, only the dual core mobile parts are delayed now, and only by a few days, May 6 vs April 29. The 7 series chipsets were released on Easter Sunday so that is why we are seeing this article.
