Oh Yeah Baby!!!! But when is it going to be released!!

Whats the point of a Core 2 Solo 1830T?
-
No kidding. Acer could easily put a ULV i5 in the 1830. Come on Acer, we're in Core i land now, get with the times.

It has a Core i5-520UM. -
The article says the 1830T will have a core 2 solo, so somebody has got the wrong information, question is who?

Acer's website (US) has been a mess for the past few days as they update it with the TimelineX's. I am 100% sure that the 1830T does not use a 45nm Core processor. -

Yeah it has been a mess - I'll update the article if Acer confirms it has the Core i5. The Core 2 Solo didn't sound right though that is what was leaked . . . -
The 3820 and the 4820 look very nice...and are insanely powerful for the size. i5+5650 is a real deal for such small and light machines. The best is they cost about 850-900€ fully loaded.

These new acers are the definition of an all around laptop. So much power if you need it. Extremely long battery life you want that too. Problem is that I hear there is no esata port or USB 3.0. That seems to be the only problem for me. Sigh.

Ahbeyvuhgehduh Lost in contemplation....
Personally e-sata or usb 3.0 being absent would not be an impediment for me to buy such a machine ... these are very nice looking machines to be sure. I am curious haw they will perform in "real time" measurements/testings.... -
When do these machines debut? The TimelineX 3820T looks wonderful- the only thing missing is ESATA or USB 3.0.
