Very interesting products. Especially the 13". Laptopmag reviewed it and got 8 hours and 5 minutes of real life battery life.

The 500GB hard drive Acer uses is a Toshiba that is currently the most power efficient traditional hard drive.

Interested in seeing how these and the MSI's do in terms of sales. I'm intrigued by these cheap, thin and lights.

The 13.3" will be a hit, no doubt. The size and power are fantastic for the price!

I'm not so sure about the 14" and 15.6" versions though....single-core 1.3GHz and 1.4GHz processors? Yes, they're low wattage and can run for hours...but you'll be waiting hours for it to do anything!

I expect 13, 14 and 15" will all be available with Core 2 Duo, as is the case in Europe.

The thin and sleek part looks very nice but once opened up it looks uninspiring to me.
