looks like i was wrong Intel is starting to ship the dual core atoms put these in one of the N10 and im defintely buying Dual Core Atom FTMW

They are only going to be put in nettops for now. The engineers need to figure out a way to put these dual core chips in the current notebooks without a large decrease in battery life. I don't think its possible, but they really should let you disable one core in a multi core processor to increase battery life when needed. This simple concept really isn't possible?

This isn't possible right now, especially for Intel's dual core Atom. Due to the borrowed design from the Pentium D 800 series, each core is in its own die and it would not be possible to literally cut or even lower power to one without affecting the other. AMD's Phenom is a bit more streamlined when it comes to power efficiency, since all of its core are integrated within a single die, and is designed to lower clock speed and voltage to unused core(s). The Atom will need to undergo another major architectural change before Intel can lower its power consumption to where it needs to be.

Wow. This thing can play some games.

Quoting from the early review:
"N10J . . . is the Nvidia equipped member of the N10 family. The N10E version has just integrated graphics and starts at $599, while the N10J has an Nvidia 9300 GS 256MB graphics card on board. You can toggle to using integrated graphics on the N10J to save battery life by flipping a switch on the left side"
Can you help me understand the dif between integrated graphics and Nvidia? My Deal xps m1330 has nvidia --
but I want a "net"book to drag along to class and to libraries. Since I might want to do a power point presentation in class, do I need the Nvidia? Or will integrated graphics do as well?
Thanks

The integrated graphics will do just fine for most purposes, including games like the Sims 2.
