    Issit me or AMD is falling behind. It looks like their turning point would be at 2008, the Fusion. Looks like make or break...

    They have ben falling behind, because they are so much smaller than Intel, who have money to throw at projects. AMD had to work on one architecture that they had, and they couldn't begin to work on a new architecture until they knew they had reached the end of the line with the current one.

    If AMD is going to make a com back, then this year will not be it. They don't have much planned for this year, except the newer die shrinks, but nothing massive. Only nearing the end, will we see K8-L come to life, but that will be on the workstation market. Desktop processors will come later, and evem they might not be able to compete, because Intel will have forged ahead with the advancements made to their current architecture, with the larger FSB and support for DDR3 RAM.
