<!-- Generated by XStandard version 1.7.1.0 on 2007-05-09T00:10:21 -->HP today updated a couple of new notebooks in the Compaq Presario line with the new Intel Centrino Duo: the v6000t and v3000t. In addition, a new Compaq logo graces these refreshed notebooks and a new Radiance Imprint design has been included.
Refreshed Compaq Presario v6000t
(view large image)The Compaq v6000t is a 15.4" screen notebook and now offers the latest Intel Centrino Duo (Santa Rosa) platform. Check out the picture above and you'll see that the COMPAQ logo is now more square and stylized, much better than the old red looking logo. In addition the shorthand logo can be seen on the screen, it looks like a merged "C" and "Q". Specs wise the v6000t is much like the sister dv6500t notebook, with a few things removed. The finish has also been changed somewhat, the HP "Radiance" Imprint finish is included as part of the body finish. Following are the quick specs for the refreshed v6000t:

I like the new logo.
And it still seems that Compaq will be the lesser spec models of HP's computer family. -
-
It was time for a new look to it.
-
HP is looking good for dominating this year again. And where is Dell? making linux notebooks...
-
It's getting more and more similiar to HP's design, just without the neat little designs. The A/C LED, the hinge, and even the touchpad area.
Other then that, I'm a huge fan of the current DV models, so its a good thing -
At first, it looks weird, but after looking 'compaq' logo in full, it looks more modern and more stylish
-
And haven't the Compaq's looked identical to the HP models for almost a year, other than having gray/gunmetal instead of silver/black? -
Is it just me or are the 3000Ts not on the site any longer?
-
Personally, I like the Compaqs and would buy another if it were not for the integrated graphics. I've had enough of those. -
Why do HP come out with the new Compaq V3000T and not have it on their site ??
