    For all those interested in the upgrade to the Pentium-M it looks like that maybe just around the corner on Feb 4, according to a report from Digi-Times (see link).
    So for all those thinking about a Pentium-M based notebook, maybe holding off for a few more weeks might not be a bad idea, hopefully the new release may bring the price down a bit on the current Banias processors !![ :D]

    the article is outdated. current reports suggest a Q2 2004 release which is a few months later than February.

    And I'm sorry for the miss-information. Bummer though I was planning on getting my new laptop in march, with a new dothan chip. Looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer now.

    And in an effort to redeem myself & appear to be mildly upto date I noticed this article about the successor to dothan. Bit weird to be talking about a replacement for a product that is yet to exist but I guess that's life these days!
