    For some reason the page isn't loading for me...

    Nice find though, even though it's not showing up I'm just going to assume you're telling the truth. ^^;

    Are you able to enter http://www.pcw.fr/ ?

    If so, go there and you'll find MSI S271 to the left!

    Regards

    Page loaded for me... but it took a while.

    The notebook is a MSI S271 12". AMD Turion 64 x2® TL50. My question is what is the ATi Radeon XPRESS 485M? It must be some sort of updated 200M integrated graphics. Perhaps like twice the power though.

    The battery sticking out on the notebook looks really wierd. Perhaps it lasts for a long time.

    It's the new chipset that supports the Turion X2, Jason.

    No, the main site isn't loading either, been about 2 minutes, I'll wait a bit longer and see...

    I sent a mail to that S271 company, and they said it would be available "middle may".
    They are waiting for the official release. Seems the Turion 64 X2 is coming out faster than i expected.

    thats my laptop right there. Just look at the averatec 2100 and youll see what it is. The battery is the extended 8 cell and I got 4.5+ hours of time using wired internet and typing/researching a paper. Now tith the MT40 upgrade I expect 3hours out of it.

    edit dont buy the regular 4 cell cause when the system was stock I got 2 hours idle and 1.5 at best typing a paper with zero internet.

    Looking forward to the X2, some notebook manufacturers in Australia quote notebooks featuring it as available early June, and at very reasonable prices.

    Apparently the upgraded 200M is called the X1100... I may be wrong but that's what one site quotes.
