Just saw this article over at toms hardware (http://www6.tomshardware.com/hardnews/20040722_101311.html), which has some interesting info on the next generation of mobile GPUs from ATI and Nvidia.

The article also has a link to a future notebook on eurocom.s web's site which has above said GPUs. No comment from eurocom or release date yet. Also interesting is that there is no link to this notebook from the future notebook page, wondering if its been removed ??

Isnt PCI express (as seen in the posted picture) not due to be released until the first quarter of 2005?

I think i'm not alone in the pack of possibly hundreds...dare i say thousands of consumers waiting for this, what i feel, gigantic leap in mobile graphics performance. But with all this waiting its unbearable to keep waiting and waiting and waiting?

Please, anyone...tell me i'm not alone lol![ :D]

Yeah I'm quite surprised to see this article as well, I didn't and still don't think you'll see any notebook in shops till Jan 05 at the absolute earliest.
I think most notebook makers will try and flog off as much of there current/old stock at XMas, then used PCI-X as a way to keep the buying going into the new year. At least that is what I would to if I were a marketing dude.
    :)
