Also i have alot of respect for Ellen her shows are always interesting.

 

I randomly joined earlier today to see if any of my friends are on Twitter. (They aren't-these are the same teens/college students who thought the world had ended - and continue to believe so -because Facebook redesigned the home landing page to resemble services like Twitter.)

An example from a few weeks ago: My history prof. was asking us about stuff and casually mentioned that Twitter was the hot new thing and if anyone had heard of it. I, of course, knew what it was but I had a small sliver of hope that my supposedly "with it" classmates would know what it is, but of course.... "What's that?" "Is it like the new Facebook, this thing must suck...." One person was like "It's this thing you do on your phone....it's on your phone, you text with it...." Said person even went on to mime entering text into her phone's keypad.

This was my response in my head:


I was just going to let the page sit stagnant, perhaps follow a few blogs, etc. but now I have a reason to use it! Thanks!

 

I've only been using it to follow Dell Outlet, but now I have two reason!

 

Twitter is the only site that goes down more than this forum I think, like just now when I tried to follow NBR.

At least they have a friendly whale giving a message.

 

Yeah, the fail whale hits too often. They have growth issues. Don't forget to follow DTR.
