The NH570 . . .
Why, why, why. -
Cause nobody cares anymore. It's all about selling crap.
-
Fixed it for you.
-
You're upset they didn't go with the resolution Acer did on their new 18.4"?
Being serious though what makes Fujistu think they should charge $170 more for the Lifebook PH520 just because it has 70GB more storage on the HDD over the Acer Aspire AO721? -

The NH570 looks okay other than he strange screen res.... Although expensive. A pity - I have not seen something Fujitsu has made that has caught my interest for some time now.
-
I bought the NH570 in February, though mine has the i5 processor and not the i7. It's been a great machine so far, and the i5 has my battery life around 3.5 hours while using CAD. That kicks the crap out of my Asus with the i7, which gets barely more than an hour when using CAD. I agree with the screen resolution comment, though...would have loved 1920x1080 or higher.
I actually got mine at Costco. They had a sale on so I got it for $1025 plus tax, and then the shipping was free. -

Hey - not a bad deal you got there!
-
You call their laptops pretty? Wow, you're sure one for nostalgia aren't you. Fujitsu's designs haven't changed much for the past what, 5 years?
-
I don't think the "pretty" comment was aimed at Fujitsu laptops in particular so much as it's aimed at the laptop marketing department. For example, by labeling something as "720p", they can convince lots of people that a crappy resolution is "high definition".
But yeah, Fujitsu laptops are as expensive as ever. If i hadn't gotten my T5010 on sale, I probably wouldn't own one of their machines X_X
