This looks like a better deal

The Thinkpad 8 isn't comparable. One is an 8" slate (no keyboard); the other is an 11" hybrid (removable keyboard). Very different devices.
That said, just about any Win8 convertible on the market is a better deal than this HP Pro x2, particularly given its godawful screen resolution by 2014 standards. -
I find thepro x2 410 g1t very attractive:thumbsup:. I's a shame that HP marketing has completely forgotten that it exists. Indeed now they are focused on teh new Pro x2 612. The 410 notebook is for sure a little heavy and has not a stellar resolution, however it has 2 important quality: i5 is a fanless and the 2 battery are really good. I find these 2 things very important for working. But I write because pheraps there is mysterious and incredible aspect of this product. There is the real possibility (a voice) that his digitizer is compatible with the excellent pen atmel (the second generation). If it's true the 410 is a great deal with this price. The problem is that nobody writes about it, nobody confirms or denies. Why this conspiratorial behavior? There are few reviews too about this item, but I red "signals" about Atmel compatibility and in the HP pages I don't find a crumb of information about what kind of digitizer it use for the screen. If there is someone out in the galaxy who bought the pro x2 410, please take an atmel pen and tell us what happens. Is there the digital miracle or not?
Thanks
