Wait, the Flex laptops are basically Yogas whose hinge can't reach QUITE 360 degrees, eliminating tablet mode but retaining the rest of the Yoga's functionality? Not impressed.

I'm curious about the guard that automatically extends to protect the Thinkpad Yoga's keyboard. Is it a simple mechanical mechanism that pushes it out? Surely not an electric motor of some sort?

Based on the video it kind of seems mechanical. The Thinkpad Yoga has colored me interested, but the lack of info on battery life, have me questioning it. Also, form the press pictures I saw, they said it's a Gorilla Glass Display, but it also looked a bit matte like or they put like an anti-glare coating on it? Can anyone confirm? Last Q, does the Thinkpad Yoga come with any keyboard light of sorts that Thinkpads are known for?

I take that the Thinkpad Yoga weighs about the same, despite being smaller than the Yoga Pro, because of the thickness?

It is indeed a set of small mechanical "arms" connected to the hinges that move the keyboard surround/plate up to the same level as the top of the keys when the screen lid is moved into the tablet position. That way to don't feel exposed keys when you walk around with the ThinkPad Yoga in tablet mode.
