    There were no 2k or 4k 17 inch notebooks at CES (by any manufacturer), maybe at some point this year.

    What do you mean lowering temps? I dunno about smaller models, but I own a MSI GT780 and have absolutely no heating issues, compared to other laptops gaming laptops I've owned, the MSI 17.3" notebooks have far exceeded other gaming laptops in terms of stability and heat. Only laptops I've never owned/used are Sager and Alienwares.

    Methinks he was talking about the slim jim stealth and its thermal output (which is somewhere around a nuke and sirancha).
