    I think Dunnington is so overkill. Unless you're a hardcore Supreme Commander fan.

    No doubt. I guess only professionals requiring high-end systems could truly make use of SIX CORES!! :\

    I can easily use 6 cores ^_^, could easily mean hours and even days less waiting for a render.

    A dream now="EEE= OCTO-Core+10800gx4+16GB DDR4+10 TB 20000rpm."=peace of crap in ~6 years. :D

    now seriously.i don`t think someone will need 6 cores in laptop...

    nutheads(not being serious :p), dunnington is for servers, its not using LGA775 socket...

    Wouldn't it fit in a skulltrail board as it is a server-board? Or are they putting out a new socket for it?

    Not sure about Dunnington, but i think the 8core Nehelam is going to be a brand new socket. Kinda makes sense when its two quads in one socket, probably need something more powerful that LGA771
