The fact that Sager is charging 550$ for the GTX 480 upgrade on the D900F really scares me. Seems like we are going back to the 9800 GTX era... luckily ATI is actually doing something very interesting now, unlike 2 years, so in short the consumer wins. Want the best of the best (and hottest)? get the GTX 480. Want something almost as good for a reasonable price? get the 5870.
Hopefully this will encourage more manufacturers to adopt MXM. -

Dual GTX480's? Not much point in having a detachable power cord.

But still the specs are simply amazing regardless of how little battery life is.
If the temps are maintained at a decent level the X7200 is going to be crazy powerful. -
Which is better(faster) than from the 2 Laptops with dual 480M's ?
& will it be faster than the Aw m17x R2 ?
thanks -
It will definitely be more powerful than the current AW m17 R2, we will see what's AW's response.

Well, in fact you can buy this computer in China at a price about $5100 with 980X, 480M SLI, 6G triple channel DDR3 1333 and three 7200rpm 500G HDD raid0. Also this laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 esata ports.
