OCZ Intros Mini SSDs for Netbooks
    [IMG]
OCZ today introduced a new storage solution designed specifically for netbooks: a flash-based Solid State Disk (SSD) with a mini-PCI Express interface. The drives are available in 32GB and 64GB versions; OCZ says the SATA drives have read/write speeds up to 110/51MB/s, while versions with a PATA interface have read/write speeds up to 45/35MB/s.

Pricing and availability have not been announced.

Patriot and Super Talent already made these though. Netbooks like the Dell Inspiron Mini have this type of SSD already.

Runcore also makes good ssd's for the Dell Mini, EEE, and HP Mini's. I have one for my 901.

We already have 90/55 which is pretty close...
One thing I am unsure of though, what's the difference between the PATA and SATA one? I mean, besides speed obviously.
I guess all on that board is an IDE or SATA controller, and the chips?

    Specifically for netbooks....

Why not just a cheap 60GB OCZ SSD?
