    Gartner Research recently released their report on PC shipments in Q2, showing a healthy increase in shipments from the same period last year.

    When you have great options at both ends of the spectrum, high end gaming and amazing battery ultraportables, that is gonna happen.

    It would be interesting to see how the rankings stand on value. Asus is very strong in netbooks.

    In terms of market share, Lenovo's gain was larger than ASUS'. And it didn't come from selling netbooks.
    Another year like that and Lenovo passes Dell -- bigger news than Toshiba to 6th while gaining market share.

    Damn Asus kicking butt!! Hurrah glad to have a G73JH. Well now they just need to have it where you have the option to order the notebook directly from them and improve their tech support and rma repairs and they will be even more of an amazing company!
