To those who are unfamiliar with Clevo, Uniwill and Quanta. A majority of boutique gaming rigs out there, such as VoodooPC, Alienware, Hypersonic, Sager, etc use Clevo and Uniwill notebooks. Fujitsu-Amilo also uses Uniwill. Quanta is lesser known but they are the world's largest notebook manufacturer and do sell barebones in the statesenjoy!
Clevo M550N (15.4), DDR2 RAM. No word on GPU (if any)

Excellent information, thanks for bringing us the latest ODM news Goren.
That Clevo looks like a replacement to the current M38AW (aka Sager NP-3880) series.
I'd agree that the last one looks like the M655 - hence it looks similar to the current 1029.
Chaz -
i also thought the new Quantas look straight out of Clevo's factory! a far change in look from their usual thick and black colored designs they've used in the past! -

Yeah, that is an interesting design move. . I can't see how it would be better for your fingers, according to what I've read, your hands shouldn't be resting on the palmrest.
Is it just me or does that Arima 625 look like an HP ze2000 and the Compal HEL81 a Dell Latitude D600 series? Maybe those companies are just the ODM. You're the expert around here. -
Compal does Dell (but i think it's the Inspirons only).
