Late or not, i'm glad to be informed about its screen. Sony used to give the best screens in most of their models, but now with their 16" series (eventhough its still a 1000+ notebook) they caught up with the rest of the industry (i.e. offering the lowest possible quality screens in consumer models).

I'd still much prefer this F over the new F, which is simply the ugliest piece of hardware I've ever seen Sony churn out.

Sony support said this model have not optical out, but this model have got optical out, but don´t work, I try do work it but I couln´t, the red light is on at the end of the optical fiber but not soud in my pioneer 1014 receiver. In windows 7 not appear the spdif selection. How can I do to use the optical out of my Sony Vaio vspf136fm?
