    wow, talk about direspecting those that buy your product. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if Sony were challenged in court on this, although having a judge or jury understand the implications of allowing software to be installed without any agreement or even notification to the end user might take a good lawyer to properly explain in layman terms.

    Good thing i stopped buying sony's crappy products rightafter i made the mistake of buying a PSP, and then waiting for 3 months for a GOOD game to play... Over priced piece of SH#^

    That is ridiculous, what Sony is doing with the rootkits. Talk about scaring away customers! :mad:

    I've really been dissatisfied with Sony products lately...I have a digital camera which I just bought at Best Buy - a 7.2MP DSC-P200, which I don't like, and I had a PSP - unloaded that 'thing' on eBay.

    i would be very suprised if sony was the only company this was going on with. . . . Not to mention that Sony products are pretty **** good in my opinion, I love my digital camera and I love my PSP, kiss my *** :)

    Microsoft said they'll remove this Sony garbage in their next critical update package.

    check the news reports these sony cds are being pulled from store shelves = busted!

    I continue not to buy anything sony because of their business practices, besides the fact you are paying at least 10% more for their brand name.
