    I know it is crazy.

    But, I thought some of those are only meant for asian region(esp Starter version).

    Yeah, some of them are only available in certain regions, so we Americans at least don't have to contend with 8 versions of Vista.
    Everybodys gonna be pirating the ultimate edition for sure.

    Ill be using Windows Vista Ultimate thats for sure, with a dual boot to SUSE Linux :)

    Yeah, I'm still totally convence they're will be people lined up outside Staples to get they're copy of Vista like, Barnes & Noble at midnight for the release of the next Harry Potter book.

    I just hope that the Ultimate isn't gonna be outrageously price. I'm either gonna go for Ultimate or Business edition.

    I'm hoping they release some better security patches for XP so I don't have to deal with the Vista BS.

    yeah! i will give MS couple of years to fix most of the bugs in Vista, before i use it for full time. until then i am gonna stuck with xp, which i think is pretty fixed now with service pack 2 and all those security pathches.

    Buying a computer is going to be even more like buying a car now. Since Vista seems like it will have options packages.

    XP is still waiting for a final service pack. Last I heard we should have it by the end of this year. It's good M$ aren't giving up on XP for now! OR they are anticipating some quirks with Vista :D ... that should be resolved a few SPs down the road. The usual M$ way of doing business

    For me, it is Hasta la vista Microsoft.

    When Windows XP will go, I will completely migrate to Linux.
