    The Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge are the best smartphones. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL have potential to join them. They all cost north of $700.

    You shouldn’t have to pay that much for a smartphone. In fact, you don’t. There are great smartphones that offer close to the same performance level and features as the flagships, for half the price or less.
