Nice! You already tested this one? 3DMARK? Is it already available? If not can you pre-order? ( I did not find it on the site http://www.bto.eu yet )
-
Details will be posted for 3DMark scores, and keep checking the Thread you do not believe your eyes but the scores are true.
Keep in mind the scores are gained by only using WHQL drivers.
pre-order can be done trough the website www.bto.eu & www.btonotebooks.nl
The details will be on the website at the end of the week, for further details please feel free to request trough the form or the website. -
Nice, but I don't see the heat sensitive keys?
-
It's the small strip with the blue light in the picture.
Does it use hybrid sli? -
You mean in the left hand side?
-
Never reach low USA price!!!!

Could you do this test in 1280x800 or 1280x1024?

Hmm...this is pretty tempting. Can't wait to see the prices on Powernotebooks.
3D scores aren't bad and I could really use that HDMI. I like the all black look
I just wish the port layout was better. Having those USB ports in front of the disc drive can be really annoying. My only problem with the HEL80 -
No way. You'd have to be mad to buy them for that much -- it's a good laptop, but it is mid-range (just like its predecessors). For $2.4K you can get something high-end, like the M860TU.
The reason the prices in Euros are so high is that when it comes to electronics, Europeans tend to pay the same number of Euros as Americans pay dollars (the 1.57 conversion rate notwithstanding). Part of it is their VAT, part of it is that the prices are just higher -- but you should never, ever buy electronics in Europe if you can get the same thing in the US (unless you have a really special deal). In any case, I'd expect it to cost about $1500 in the US. -
Its already priced at www.microexpress.net.
if i can get dell xps1530 i would do it cuz dell usa site have great discount bring u perfect laptop with 1300$ but unfort. i dnt live in USA to benifit of their discount!
HOLLAND PPL always trademan!!!if BTO put price like USA Price they will attract more customers who couldnt buy usa discounted XPS1530!
@DONALD you can put jhl90 in your site with ready T8300,T9300... and new centrino2 with pre-order! -
Thanks for pointing out this line: but you should never, ever buy electronics in Europe if you can get the same thing in the US
I live in europe and the price is fine for me, why would I buy something in the US and pay extra for the transport and what's my warranty going to be next day fix. -
Yep, but keep in mind this is still with the old CPU, old Turbo memory but the price is still good.
Keep in mind BTO NOTEBOOKS is a small company. -
Why you guy's argue about the price? people in US are not buying in EU and visa versa. US cars and complete houses are very cheap for us EU citizens. Labour is also more expensive in EU so complete systems will be higher also.
Everything is expensive now for US people in EU!!! even a cup of Starbuck coffee !! But I am waiting for the official prices after the launch in US. -
I also think people in Europe would buy from a trustful, knowledgeable and professional OEM, and BTO notebooks is all that. I would buy from BTO if I were in Europe w/o thinking twice.
-
I don't know if you are working for BTO or not, but my question is....why is it that when I order the exact same notebook with everything the same on another Dutch site (I won't mention the name) costs around 100 euro less than on the BTO site?
-
Try it , buy it at the place you have the best feeling. Some customers of BTO buy Barebones and configure themselves, but 100 less for exactly the same?
Together with a BTO is also a BTO BAG,MOUSE, CLEANcloth, Headphone in some configurations. -
Sorry, what I meant was all other things being equal. If you live in Europe, it is probably a whole lot easier to buy in Europe. The point of that post was these notebooks would not cost $2400 in the US.
-
imo 2400 for this is way to expensive..
-
Exactly same hardware and I even put in the options a kit with optical mouse-usb lamp/light-headphones with mic-usb hub-usb adaptor-small usb keyboard, all in a nice soft case, so you get even more on this site..just 27 euros extra......so together with that around 100 euros cheaper somewhere else. On BTO the configuration cost me about 1200 euros, on that other site 1104 euros.
So that is why I bought the 15w26+ there and it's all working fine, stable and fast. It just doesn't have the BTO logo on it, the rest is 100% the same.
Besides, the extras you mention are meant to be free....not extra cost added to the price...and still the other site is cheaper after adding a kit with more stuff in it then BTO offers for "free". -

@icehell
We will have it up with the new processors on Tuesday the 15th...only 5 days away...that will be soon enough don't you think?
-

No Donald that is soon enough
How about...tomorrow?? -

I heard that this model might have a magnesium case. Is that true? Might be a deal breaker between this and the m860tu as the durability, price and battery might trump power for me. A LED screen would put it over the top for me but thats just wishful thinking.
-
can you give me an overview of the whole vista experience ( 5.4 is average, be interesting to see the rest
-
If its more than 1200$(P8400-hard250gb-ram2gb) i wont buy it!
-
INEEDMONEY Homicidal Teddy Bear
Mmm...I would think it would be a just a little more than that. We should know next Tuesday
-
are there some people already bought the BTO P-BOOK 15C27+?
I am waiting for experiences, photo's and test results!
BTO told me he is available and they almost sold out first shipment.
Prices are reasonable in my opinion for the whole BTO package. -
INEEDMONEY Homicidal Teddy Bear
I'll have to wait until Tuesday to see the prices from powernotebooks
Hopefully I can sell my HEL80 and pick up one
edit: And there are already photos and some test results -
Be happy you have a second hand Compal instead of a broken ACER
