Hi notebookreview users!
My buttons to the right side, of my power button dosent light up.
And i can't seem to find any drivers. Anyone of you got an idea ?
-
Are you talking about the wow buttons? You can either install microsft intellitype or get the the wow software on the compal website.
-
uhhh, the wow buttons don't have LEDs on them
-
Actually they do.They light up only pressed.
-
lol, i just pressed them, nothing
(there is no actual LED on them like the sound button either)
-
Crack open the front cover and you'll see them.
-
Maybe if you didn't install WOW app., they don't light up.
-
Well, i diddn't install the app, but there is no way a light could be physically seen any way... it's a solid area...
-
They light up on mine. Whom did you buy your JFL92 from?
-
Yay, a brother! I was starting to wonder if I was hallucinating
The LED is dim try to press it in the dark. If it's not the wow buttons I'm fairly certain the browser and mail button light up. ^^
-
It doesn't have to be dark to see it. It lits only when the finger is on it, so your finger is probably hiding the light from you
D sounds funny), but that's in my case. I don't have the WOW installed.

The flat cable for the touch sensitive buttons might be disconnected form the electric board, which is underneath the cover.
Try pressing the mute button, check if audio is muted.
If not then the flat cable is disconnected from the electric board or the board/cable is broken.
Just remove the touch sensitive cover. -
Yea, the audio mute (and the LED for that works fine)
But the WOW buttons and mail and ect don't light up (JFL92 from Xotic) -
Just give it a rest already...
