I had same thing, crisis disk procedure didnt work here, usb stick, cdr or usb floppy drive with crisis disk+proper fw file, it searches teh device but doesnt do anything. My bet is that u gotta contact dealer and apply for RMA, worked for me.

Odd it didn't work fo rme then, matbe it's because i just used a crisis recovery disk from other manufacturers, who also had phoenix bios on their laptop, and just replaced their bios with the one for hel80.

The Crisis_Diskette.exe does not seem to write any files to A:\ for me... what files does it write for you besides the generic bios.wph?

    edit>

this file crisis_diskette.exe is corrupt... pardon.

    the new file is

    http://rapidshare.de/files/30321496/268076.exe

    when you run this file

have you selected the floppy "unit", where this file extract all system file?

    ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
other files are system files (io.sys etc)

for bios wph, rename your latest rom bios , in bios.wph....
