As an option when you buy you can now order the 6214W with the 12 cell battery, I was wondering if there is any way of purchasing one seperatly as my notebook has already been ordered and I don't want to change that order and slow down its arrival even more.
I guess this is a question for the Zepto staff but i think it might be of interest to others so am posting the question as a thread.

-
come on zepto put them on the accessories page
-
just seen its price thats shocking
-
oh yeh i should probably post the price... its £70.. does not appear to be too bad, a replacement ipod battery costs £20 and this is much bigger
-
I've noticed that zepto's are cheap to configure.
-
That was one of the main reasons i chose to buy a zepto, the only really expencive options are the 2.13Ghz and 2.33Ghz processors which are plus £130 and £270 respectivly on top of the extreme edition's £700 start price.
I will see how the 6 cell battery is for me before deciding whether or not I will actually need more than two and a half hours battery life. I'm guessing i will be near enough to a socket to nick a recharge -
if you are gaming that will be more like 1hr 15 minutes
-
I don't plan on gaming while on battery
i will have some work to do at Uni... yay Aerospace engineering
-
wow you could be the guy behind the next concorde, cracks in the wings and all -
hopefully without the cracks but thats the general idea
-
Can anyone tell me how big that 12 cell battery will be? Will it stick out a lot?
-
It will be possible to receive a 12 Cell battery separately
-
(that's just a alpha version - don't get confused by its look) -
I just hope that none of the zepto batteries are made by sony
