Brand new laptop. When I run it from the AC Adapter, it works fine. The battery only lasts until about 50%, then freezes EVERY TIME. I usually switch it off, then try again, and it will boot up, but then freeze shortly after. I am wondering if this is a common problem, and if it is just a battery issue. If it is, I may forget having it replaced and just get the extended battery (whch I was gonna get anyway).

by the way, how is the extended battery? Does it really add much more life?
