I've been looking at a Zepto 2225 on the behalf of a friend, much thanks to the price. I'm a bit reluctant to recommend it to him, again due to the price. How sturdy are the Zeptos, the 2225 in particular? Is it Lenovo, or Fujitsu 'Rice paper' Siemens grade? :)

Don't know about that particular model, but my Zepto is something between and IBM and let's say, Asus. My laptop before this one was an IBM T23, a very sturdy machine.

That said, i believe it's obvious that i did some comparing between them, and Zepto was more than i could hope. I expected some "rice paper" build quality but instead, i was positively surprised. :)

I've never had an Asus, but my current laptop is in fact a T23 and I agree with you - IBM did make tremendously tough laptops.
Thanks for your input Thorne! BTW, Helsinki is spelt with a single L, unless you're meant to indicate the city's a s**thole.. ;)
