I have searched every forum possible and even tried drivers not specifically for this model. It's the 2300 series (N2370HM1E-1) and I could use some assistance with locating it. I know for certain that my NIC is supported by NVIDIA. I had Vista installed but didn't like it so I used the backup. This is the 3rd time that I had to reinstall the OS and actually having driver problems with XP.

Thank you in advanced for taking the time to read this post. I'm sure this will benefit everyone as this is the only post relating to the 2300 series laptop.

I assume you have downloaded the above 8MB file from Averatec's site and installed it?

The wired Ethernet adapter on the 2370 is integrated into the chipset. There really isn't a separate driver.

I haven't bothered to check nVidia's site for their XP drivers, but there may be a newer version located there. You want the one for the nForce 410 chipset (without the integrated graphics).

Hey there Serenityconsulting and everyone else that has this exact same problem--The only driver that worked was the nForce 410 chipset driver on nVidia's website. I overlooked this download becuase I wasn't sure what device this notebook had. Thanks a million! :D
