I picked up a 2370 broken from my friend and mailed it in and had it fixed. It took forever cuz averatec wouldn't send them the parts to fix it for an eternity. But it works awesome now except the screen will occasionally go messed up and i'll have to hold down the power button to reset it. I tried installing the display driver from averatec's website but it wouldn't install. Any help is appreciated.

It isn't a software issue. Something else is going on. I get this every once in awhile if I play with the CPU voltages or overheat my computer.

Also if you have RMClock or NHC installed, uninstall it. It'll cause the GPU to artifact and crash.

go to nvidia's site and look for an updated chipset driver. install it. then reinstall the video driver from Averatec's site.

still flooky? I agree it is not a software issue.

I run RMClock and cputemp all the time on m computer. But I don't adjust anything in RMClock, I just let it monitor. It will go messed up frequently or go quite a few hours without a problem.

Ya. RMClock is the cause of it. Just uninstall it... does not really matter how hot your computer gets at this point of its life...

hmm, I have similar problem except mine only messes up if you let screen saver takes over for few hours. I can press Fn + F4 key to get it into sleep mode and then press power button to resume. it works fine like that for me. hope this would help you a little.
