It wouldnt be too bad, although the x600 wouldnt be able to run at high settings, and I would recommend putting the extra cash for a a 7200RPM HD. Those games may well eat most of your 1GB, and you may find yourself paging. Laptop harddrives are notorius for being slow and 'laggy' so by getting the faster drive, you'll be helping to cut down on bottlenecks you'll face. That said, the machine should play those games.

I have a desktop with an AMD Athlon 3400+, 512 mb ram and an x600, and it runs those games fine. Except TQ, which lags for some reason, the rest are great. If I had 1 GB RAM they'd all run fine.

That laptop is really bad value. Pay the little extra and get much better performance out of the 6214. The performance gap is huge.

I have to say that this model seems a bit outdated in terms of components. The 2425W or 6615WD is a better choice in my eyes for 15.4" gamers.

An x600 desktop version is faster than a mobility version. As you try to use more programmes with a dual core, or try higher settings, the RAM will kick in. My WoW on my desktop frequently uses 800-900MB of RAM.
