Zepto, if you are dispatching form UE to UE why should we pay so absurdly high gst?

I wanted to order your laptop, for Ł630 but then Ł130 was added for GST.... is it some kind of mistake?

From where to where are you shipping? EU (european union) to EU or UK to UK? The VAT in the UK is 17.5% and that is what they are charging at the Uk website....

Yeah GST and VAT are the same they are the sales tax. Some countries use VAT others GST. What country are you in? If it is listed in the list on the left at www.zepto.com then use that and it will automaticly give you the price including GST/VAT for your country.

If your country is not listed then use the link to Zepto Global on the right. I noticed that at the Global site they charge GST and I think that is what you where talking about, right?

I would suggest you email Zepto or call them in Denmark and they will process your order. The Global website cant give you the right amount because it is not specific to your country. I think (I do not work for Zepto or anything so dont blame them or me if wrong) that if you are in the EU you need to pay the Net prices at the global site plus the GST or VAT that applies for your country. If you are outside the EU might need to pay some import tax in addition to this. For the USA and Canada you wont need to pay any sales tax I think.

Dell has alot of configuration options but you dont really want to buy from them :p
It is mostly cheaper to upgrade the ram and hard disk after market anyway. Just the CPU costs too much to upgrade later.

so shipping to the US would waive the gst correct? How would I get my order processed then if I wanted to order their laptops, by email? And any ideas on what shipping and customs would be?

You process the order through zeptos global website, This will show VAT/tax/gst. We then invoice it without Tax, It would be best to send an email after placing the order. You can make the order without puttinbg in your creditcard details and they pay by card or international bank transfer later on. Shipping 50 euros ,not sure what that is in US dollars and I really dont know about customs charges but reading another thread on here it mentions that this would be a small charge usually 10 pounds which is about 18/20 dollars .

How much is shipping to Turkey (the country not the bird :p )? Also anybody know if I would need to pay any taxes? I am currently in germany but will be moving to turkey in September. I want to get around paying the 19% tax we have in Germany. I was told Zepto (Germany) cant do tax free or tax refund. If shipping to Turkey would be cheaper or the same price as Germany then I would get it there.
