The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    2500 owners, do you have touchpad problems?

    I have had the 2500 laptop for a few months now. It is a nice little laptop, but I do have one problem with it.

    I always use the hibernate or standby function in windows vista. Whenever I get back into windows from hibernate or standy, the touchpad vertical scroll stops working. I have to restart windows to get back vertical scrolling. I have tried drivers directly from synaptics website, but the problem remains. Anyone else have this issue?
