I'm attempting to run a 2nd external Envision 1280 by 1024 LCD monitor off my 6100. It runs fine, but the display is not as crisp as it is when I run the external monitor off my desktop. Is this just a function of the 6100's video card or are there further settings for me to adjust.

I have loaded the Envision monitor driver and the Omega video card drivers onto my laptop.

    Regards,
    Wayne C.

    Wcressman,

I have an old envision monitor. I will give it a try ... Never hooked up a monitor to my lap. I'll take a picture if it's not clear.

That'll be great. I'll be interested to see how it compares with hooking the monitor up to a desktop.

i just tried my monitor out with a hansol crt, and it works just fine. not blurry at all. well maybe a little, but not much, could just be my tired eyes though.
