    Odd that the box for my Averatec indicates it's a 3270, but the bottom of the unit is labeled series 3280. In any case, I confirmed this unit does use Ralink Technologies 11g-RT2500 WLAN driver. In fact, I upgraded mine from a 2.x version (forget exactly what version) to 3.0.2 last night, and it works fine. I saw some discussions about drivers, etc, so this may be of some help to someone.
