Hello, I am trying to decide between these two notebooks, and wondered if the Centrino chip makes that much of a difference. They seem to be almost identical except for the processor, and I can go to Sam's club and by the AMD one for $899 (with no rebates), or I can buy the Intel version for $899 from circuit city, but have to deal with $250 in rebates. I'd appreciate any feedback, since I'm not too familiar with the pros and cons of these newer mobile processors. Thanks.

I went through this same fix a few days ago, before eventually buying my 3270 at Sam's. I saw the 3360 at Circuit City for the same price after rebates as well. However, I did a lot of surfing, and all the rant seems to be about the 3270. I love it so far, and so did the people at PC Magazine who named it as their Editor's Choice:

-Not to mention, the 3270 version PC reviewed is the 60GB Hard drive, while the one at Sam's is 80GB!
