I seem to notice this when the drive is idle, but by idle, I mean just a minute or two, not after a prolonged period of time. I see no ill effects . . yet. That is to say, no errors, issues, on on data access, it sounds as it should. Still, sitting, it makes periodic clicking sounds that are scaring me. I still have about a week in my return period. Is this an omen that I should return this thing? Thanks.

The Feature Tool, and the settings recommended in that thread seem to have resolved the clicking. I'll need a little longer to be sure, but so far, so good.
