    Hi

I have tried to add another 2 Gb ram to my 6024w (i had 2G to begin with), but i've run into a problem.
When i add the 2nd memory stick the laptop freezes at boot after writing
    "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz"
I've tried the new memory stick in both slots and if i only use on stick everything works. The freezing only happens with to memory sticks.
The manual states that you can have up to 4G in it, so i was wondering if anyone knows if there are some kind of trick i need to do to upgrade the memory in a 6024w

You might need to update the BIOS. Also try letting the laptop sit for about 15 minutes. Some laptops will detect the change in RAM capacity and run a test to verify the sticks are operating correctly.

I've tried upgrading the BIOS to the latest version on Zepto driver download, hostet af Contigio (the 6024_z14I006.iso one).
I have also tried to load the default BIOS values, but that did nothing to help with freezing.

After your reply i turn on the labtop, and left it running through the night.
    It made no difference.
