    Hello
Since there was no bios update for averatec 6130hs, I decided to flash uniwill 258sa0 bios on this link.
Windows booted, but as soon as it reached the desktop, the screen became all funny with different colors, but I could still read a bit of what was going on. Duh I said. I double-checked I flashed with the right bios with the right video card, everything was fine. Then I noticed the display was ok at resolutions of 800x600 or less. It apears that it supports only 128mb video card not 64mb... I tried the oldest bios I could find, the 1.03, nothing different, still cannot read a thing in normal resolutions.
I need original averatec 6100 series BIOS to flash it back to normal, Anyone have it??? Please help... :(

Yes. Requires the use of a usb floppy drive to do it. You create a bootable floppy, NOT from XP it does not have a dos. Download AMIFlash, boot from the floppy, run amiflash, it will give you the option to save the current bios before flashing. After read, esc and exit. Then copy the file to the utility that you used to flash your bios the first time.

Averatec want give you the time of day. Their tech support only know one line. "send it in we will take a look at it". Once they boot yours, they will think it has a bad MB and charge you $400.
