when i put my 6130hs in standby on ac power, it stays in standby until i wake it up. But when i run on battery, it will stay in standby for ~10 minutes, then wake up on its own for ~10 minutes, and then go back to standby. is this the same for anyone else, and does any one now how to fix this so that it stays in standby?

my 6130h has no problem staying in standby mode, either on battery or on AC power. Stays until the battery drains (standby consumes about 5% per hour, approx a whole day!)

You might have your power settings messed up. Go to power settings under control panel. There is a column for bettery use and one for AC. Just double check these are configured how you like.

no, that isn't the problem, i think something is waking it up, but i don't know what it could be. is there a registry key which controls the standby? if so, could it be set weird and be causing it to wake up every ten minutes?
