Guys, I need to get my newly acquired [ :D] 6130 up to XP Pro. In a perfect world, I would reformat and then install the XP Pro full version. But all I have is this recovery CD. Of course, I need all the drivers, etc. that make this beast work.

I'm wondering what the recovery CD will let me be able to do after I might reformat. If it's just a "ghosting" type arrangement where it just restores everything, then I'll be back where I started with XP Home on it. If that's what it does, I guess I'll just have to buy the XP Pro Upgrade rather than the full version.

So I guess my question is: What does the recovery CD do?

All it does is image it back to the drive.

You can download all the drivers here:

    Thanks! That's great.

Now what about the apps, like for DVD burning, etc? Must I go find my own if I reformat and reinstall the full version of XP Pro?
