    6214w Resolution in games?

    I have some problems with the resolution in games like HL², WOW (which normally supports widescreens), etc... I can't choose the native resolution of the screen, i can only choose 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768 there's no wide resolutions like 1280x768. Help.

    Well the game you are trying to play does not support Widescreen resolutions, maybe...

    Or maybe you need to download a patch for the games or download an update...

    On my desktop computer wow proposes a large choice of resolutions, including wide ones, why not on my laptop?

    The only thing I can think to do is update your graphics drivers.

    I have no problem running CS:S or my latest fave Company of Heroes in 1280x768.

    Just installed the newest graphic driver found on zepto's ftp. Still can't chose any wide resolution.

    Edit: ok, i have now wide resolutions in WOW but HL² episode one is still so ****ty.

    in all source games there is a setting to choose aspect ratio, by default this is 4:3 and is found under the resolution box, if not then they must have removed this feature for episode one.. it is there in all the games in the game of the year edition HL2 i have
