Just got my 6224 (2 ghz/2 gb ram) and I have discovered some problems.
I get driver errors when i play doom3, suddenly im back in windows with a error-window saying something about my nvidia-drivers.

The other thing is when i play CC Generals Zero Hour, the game can just suddenly hang up and i get the sound over and over again. Only way to get out is to force shu down the computer.

Huh, so anyone of you know how i can fix these problems.
I'll have to say that i dont think that the laptop is using it's 100%, i get around 1000 point in 3dmark06 (1280x800).

Should I upgrade the bios? find better drivers? Anything? Thanks for all answers

Make sure you're plugged in when you run 3dmark06, and that you're performance settings are at the highest. I'd also recommend you upgrade your drivers. Try these for Windows 32-bit.

You have to download not only the driver, but the modded INF file as well. nVidia uses a Unified Driver Architecture, so any nVidia driver will work with your machine. However, some of the drivers are locked by OEM's to allow it to install on only a specific laptop. LaptopVideo2Go modifies the instillation files to allow you to install the newest drivers available. This basic Quickstart guide, combined with the drivers I linked above, should get you started.

You need to download the imodded INF file and replace the original for the video driver.. thats why it doesnt find you hardware !!
do that and it will work .... good luck

Yes! You have to set your energy-level to 'high prestations'
instead of 'balanced' or 'energy saving' That will give you more gaming-power!

You could install a program that will warn you if a temperature is exceded!
Just like Notebook Hardware Control! You could set your own warning-temperature!

My CPU and HD are about the 40 degrees Celcius in idle!
When I'm gaming my CPU is about 70 degrees and my HD about the 50 degrees!

Core1 and 2 is about 70-75 in idle, but "cpu" in everest shows 54. (celsius)
MY hd is always at 40.

Technically speaking, if either the GPU or the CPU go to critical temps, your system will shut itself down. I'm 99.9% that if you're not doing ridiculous overclocking or working in an extreme environment (high ambient temps and pressure), that you don't have to worry about either the CPU or the GPU frying themselves. Generally speaking, if you're not going above 95C or so, you don't have very much to worry about. If you're afraid your temps are too high, you can try cleaning your vents, installing thermal paste, or getting a notebook cooler.

My cpu got 102C when I did a stabilty test in Everst, and it could go higher if I didn't stop the test O_O... Is that normal or is that really bad? I just have my laptop for like a month, and I clean my vents every week.

102C is quite high. I'm fairly certain that your temps shouldn't be getting that high. Out of curiosity, what program are you using to measure the temps? Also, try setting your fans to run on max all the time, perhaps your fans aren't kicking in for some reason.

I use everest to measure the temps. Well the thing is the temps can even get allot higher if I didn't stop the test.
