    I'm writing this on a Asus W3V and it's pretty much settled that I'm getting a Zepto 6224W, or maybe a 6324W if it's released when I'm buying(any release date on 6324W?).

6224W is perfect for me in every way. The only thing I'm a little dissapointed with is the new design. I definitely preffered the minimalistic all black look of 6114W and apparently I'm not alone.. Would it be possible to get a 6224W in a 6114W chassi?

Anyway I was wondering if the performance is changed if I get 1x2GB instead of 2x1GB? I was hoping to get 1x2GB so that I can get another 2GB stick later on. I like to have every possible application running in the background so I can always use the extra ram.

If there was a performance difference it would be very small. I would only spend the extra $$$ if you are sure you are going to get the extra 2GB though.

Personally, I'd buy it with whatever it comes with and order my memory from crucial or newegg and sell whatever it came with. That is unless the memory it comes with is a good deal. Just seems like most of the time you can get a much better deal if you buy it from another source.

From my limited knowledge -- 2 sticks of 1GB is actually faster than a single stick due to dual channel memory, which is apparently faster. Don't ask me why! Look it up!

Same as above. Get 2 sticks unless you're sure you're going to upgrade in the future
