    Hi all!

I have the problem, that, in game (Warcraft III), my laptop freezes for about 1 sec from time to time.
I observed that this always happens, when fan speed changes.

In BIOS, there are plenty of settings for temperature management, but i dont understand the most things.
Is there someone, who could help me out? Perhaps even give me some concrete changes that would solve my problem?

    thx a lot!

I had the same problem on my 3415w before. It fixed itself when I undervolted my CPU to reduce the heat. This basically now means my fan stays at a constant speed and therefore WCIII doesn't freeze anymore. You can try undervolting with RMclock, but find some kind of guide to read before attempting.

    UPDATE:
I did some BIOS testing with "try and error"
I tried to diable S1-Mode, Processor Power Management, Thermal Control Circuit, DTS, Thermal Monitor, 2nd Core, No Execute Mode Memory Protection and Intel Virtualization Tech.
    The short stutterings still remain.

    Any other ideas?

For the T7300 start by dropping the maximum voltage to 1.10V, then proceed cautious down from there while fully loading both CPU cores (with two separate instances of Prime95 or similar). Also see this thread.

thx 4 your replies. It seems like i found the solution. If i turn off ACPI in NHC, it seems to work.
